Cultivating Wellbeing So Every Person Thrives

The Wellbeing Partners grew from deep roots to activate change in community and workplace wellbeing. Wellbeing (health + wellness) is the secret ingredient to building social and human capital, which is necessary for Nebraska and Iowa’s future success.

We call ourselves “bridge builders” and that means we support the journey of member organizations, schools, neighborhoods, health departments, and teams to do their best in advancing the wellbeing of those whom they serve. We also bring many sectors together to solve big problems collectively.

This work is an honor and a calling for our 10 team members who come from diverse areas of expertise ranging from community organizing, health promotion, marketing, strategic planning, public health, and employer wellness.

You can find our team:

  • At Las Nenas grocery store in Southeast Omaha as we coordinate Double Up Food Bucks with partners to get more fruits and vegetables in the hands of SNAP shoppers (Share Our Table – Double Up Foods Bucks

  • Delivering the final awards to Howard Elementary for an incredible walking competition that the team helped them build thereby engaging hundreds of students (Safe Routes to School

  • Learning from a member organization to understand their current workplace challenge to support them with expert resources and supportive strategies (Workplace Wellbeing

  • Celebrating the final stretches of the 38-mile Bike Omaha Network, which connects big places around the Omaha metro (Bike Omaha Network

  • Listening across kitchen and board room tables to learn how mental health impacts lives, workplaces, and families to reduce stigma (Mental Health Stigma Reduction

  • “Womaning” all the technology to orchestrate memorable experiences for attendees at Xchange Summit and Ignite Awards Gala (Signature Events)

These are some snapshots of our team’s impact serving more than 120 member organizations, schools, partners and workplaces.

I am in awe of this incredible team and I am grateful to serve as a coach, guide, and visionary – alongside our Board – to ensure that this work cultivates wellbeing so every person thrives. Stay tuned as we share more about our holistic strategic plan focus on mental wellbeing.
