The Health & Housing (medical respite/supportive housing) Coalition

Healthy housing advocates are invited to attend our quarterly coalition meeting. 

Our vision: Address the challenges medically complex homeless individuals in the Omaha Council Bluffs Metro face through the design of a continuum of services that identifies frequent users of healthcare systems and emergency shelters and connects them into the appropriate level of care

• —Engage in shared learning around health and housing, national models and/or best practices for addressing housing stability within the medically complex, chronically homeless population
• —Recruit additional partners when applicable
• —This group received funding to pilot medical respite in the Omaha Council Bluffs Metro Area, with a planned launch date of July 2022. Hear updates on the process.
