Family Wellness Program
Supporting Family Wellness in the community and workplace:
Research [1, 2, 3] shows that parental stress largely affects adult mental health, job performance, and satisfaction within relationships. The Wellbeing Partners has designed the Family Wellness Program to support parental mental health at the workplace or in the community through effective and developmentally appropriate parental support.
The program, led by Child & Family Wellbeing Specialist and Programs Manager Claire Brown includes:
-
Webinar Series: Claire shares her expertise with participants around topics like parent and child attachment, discipline, and feeding practices in this 4-part series. Participants can view a pre-recorded presentation, or inquire about Claire presenting live.
-
8-Week Cohort: Offered in person or virtually, parents of children ages 3-10 years old learn and practice 16 developmentally-informed strategies for positive behavior that support their child’s mental health.
-
1:1 Strategy Sessions: Parents participating in either program above can meet one-on-one with Claire to discuss challenges specific to their family and receive personalized recommendations.
-
Family Wellness Newsletters: Members of The Wellbeing Partners have access to our library of 50+ newsletters on topics relating to caring for children, parental stress, and family wellness. Newsletters are available in English and Spanish.
